Raising the Bar for Security
In order to provide high-security solutions that offer the best card protection currently available, we are setting new benchmarks in technology. Our Xsecure solution is designed to elevate your security standards and provide you with an entirely new experience.
What is Xsecure?
Xsecure® is an encryption and credential system designed by XPR. As an alternative to the conventional Card Serial Number (CSN), it allows access control systems to use this encrypted data for user identification. This concept makes use of Mifare DESFire cards’ native AES encryption, as well as a key diversification algorithm, additional data encryption, and data validity checks. Key sets and encryption processes are exclusively accessible to the secure reader.
Why is credential security important?
Access control systems are frequently compromised by the cloning or simulation of Card Serial Numbers, as RFID cards are the most susceptible component of RFID systems. Consequently, strengthening credential security is necessary to safeguard user credentials.

Why go with Xsecure®?
The Xsecure concept uses Mifare DESfire EV3 tokens. Through a non-reversible diversification process, each token has a unique access key that is used to read the card data. In order to guard against spoofing, the card data is also sealed, encrypted, and error-checked. Only the reader and card encoding system are subject to this security procedure while manufacturing the product. No duplicate IDs are created since only the approved company handles the encoding of tokens.
How does it run?
XPR produces cards with unique IDs that are secured by different keys.
Configuring a secure card reader to read only Xsecure cards by the installer or end user.
When the reader detects a card (1), it assembles the card access key (unique for each card) (2), reads the card content (3), decrypts the card content (4), extracts the ID (5), and sends it to the controller (6).
