Setting New Heights in Custom Encryption

Custom encryption is an option that allows the end user, installer, or distributor to create a higher security level than a simple built-in factory CSN. With custom encryption, you can use your ID instead of CSN.

ID is written in the DESFire card with protection parameters defined by the end user, installer, or distributor. Supported credentials are DESFire EV1, EV2, and EV3 and Mifare Classic.

 

How does it run?

With the Product Manager software, the readers are programmed with encryption parameters defined by the user

The user ID, protected by encryption parameters, is written on the card with encoding software.

The reader reads the card using the encryption parameters and sends it to the controller.
