Multi-Technology RFID Readers

Most accessible access controllers are compatible with the Xsmart multi-technology RFID readers.

In addition to reading credentials at 125 kHz and/or 13.56 MHz, they can communicate via Wiegand, OSDP, and RS-485 protocols.

Xsecure

With Xsecure, every card access key is generated through an irreversible diversification process, making it distinct and unique. To prevent spoofing, the card’s data is thus encrypted, sealed, and error-checked.

This process is only visible to the reader and the production card encoding system.

Large LED

The reader’s current state is displayed on the rectangular, tricoloured LED. When the card or key fob is presented, the reader modifies the LED’s colour; it turns green when access is granted and red when it is denied. When the orange LED (idle mode) turns on, the reader is connected.

Interoperability

The Xsmart multi-tech reader simplifies the handling of technological expansions, updates, and transitions.

The reader can read:
